A) No, traditional spiritual teachings are not for sale.
B) No, we do not sell 'Medicine Man' lessons via email, internet, stone tablet or any other media
C) No, tarot cards and reading are not part of our traditional spirituality.
D) No, traditional medicine people do not charge for their services. Grateful people often give them some kind of reward, but never a set price, or an advertised rate.
E) No, our nation's ceremonies predate the internet. We are developing software and a program for teaching Cherokee to people on-line.
F) Our nation does not recognize shamans. We have no priesthood. Traditional families pass down knowledge of healing medicines to relatives. If this woman is Cherokee, her knowledge may be true. Her methods of using it and passing it on are not traditional or sanctioned in anyway by the Cherokee Nation.
G) Traditional Cherokee beliefs are not much different, when viewed on a wide scale, than most religions. Most Cherokees in Oklahoma are Christians. Many participate in church activities and traditional Cherokee ceremonies. The influence of western tribes is felt in some of our modern day ceremonies. I have contacted ebay with these notices. Feel free to post my objections to the way our heritage is being used for financial gain.
